Our commitment
Beehive Health believes good healthcare starts with being reachable. We design and maintain beehivehealthy.com so that people of all abilities — including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, switch devices, or voice control — can find information, contact us, and start care without unnecessary barriers.
Digital accessibility is an ongoing process. We treat every report or piece of feedback as an opportunity to improve.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological differences.
Where appropriate we also reference Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and emerging WCAG 2.2 success criteria as part of our internal review process.
Accessibility features on this site
- Accessibility menu at the bottom-left of every page lets visitors increase text size, enable high-contrast colors, underline links, pause animations, and reset to defaults.
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and ARIA labels for screen-reader navigation.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, dialogs, and forms — including a visible focus indicator.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA against the page background.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful imagery; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech.
- Form fields with associated labels, instructions, and clear inline error messages.
- Responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small touch screens without horizontal scrolling.
- "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Third-party embeds (maps, scheduling widgets, chat assistant) that we don't directly control may not meet WCAG AA.
- Older PDF resources may not be fully tagged. We're remediating these as we update them — contact us and we'll provide an accessible alternative quickly.
In-clinic accessibility
Our Ephraim office is wheelchair accessible. If you need additional accommodations — interpretation services, a longer appointment window, a quiet check-in, or printed materials in large type — let us know at booking and we'll make arrangements before your visit.
Report a barrier
If something on this site is hard to use, or if a feature isn't working with your assistive technology, please tell us. Include the page URL, the device and browser you're using, and a brief description of what happened.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and resolve confirmed issues as quickly as possible.
Assessment & enforcement
We assess accessibility through a combination of automated scans, manual testing with keyboard and screen readers, and feedback from real visitors. Findings are tracked alongside our other site-quality work so that accessibility stays part of how we build, not an afterthought.
